How to apply
In this section you can find out more information about submitting your application form. Please note that for your application to be considered, you must apply online. CV applications that we receive via email or post will not be processed.
Step one
The first step is to search our vacancies on the Apply page to find out which vacancies suit your needs. Each year we have around 250 vacancies across the UK, in various business areas. To make it easy for you to apply, we have grouped our vacancies by degree discipline. Please search by your degree subject and any location preferences that you may have.
Once your search results are returned, you can click on the hyperlink to read the job description for that vacancy. We have included details on each business area that you can work in, and you can state your preferences in your application form.
Step two
Once you have selected a job to apply for, please register your details with us to access the online application form. We will send you an email to confirm your log-in information, which will allow you to complete the form in sections if you choose to do so.
Step three
Complete our application form. We have broken this down into the short sections, as outlined below:
- Main details – please enter your contact details
- Education – please provide details of where you studied, both at university and college
- Qualifications – this is where you enter the level and type of qualification you have studied or are currently studying. Remember to include the title of your latest degree or postgraduate qualification.
- Work experience – you can enter details of any part-time or full-time work you have undertaken.
- Modules – you can give the details of any modules you have studied that are particularly relevant to the vacancy you are applying for. However it is not necessary to list every module you have studied.
- Additional information – this is where you are given the opportunity to make your application stand out from the crowd! We’ll ask you to complete a few competency based questions to examine your motivation to work for us, so please answer these fully and honestly. Please note, do not copy and paste information from our website, as we’re more interested to hear your personal views.
- Upload architecture portfolio – this is for architectural students only, but all candidates will need to click the ‘save’ button on this page to register it as complete.
- Equal opportunities – this information is not available to the Recruitment staff, but is used to monitor compliance with our equal opportunities policy.
If you have any questions when completing the form, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions which provide further information.
